About Us

Siempelkamp is a nuclear services company that was founded in 1995. Headquartered in West Columbia, South Carolina, Siempelkamp occupies a 15,000-ft² facility for use as an office and test facility.

Siempelkamp's primary business focus specializes in nuclear decommissioning and remediation with specific emphasis on decommissioning project planning, development and deployment of mechanical segmentation systems, and turnkey project execution. Over our nine-year history, our personnel have planned and executed radiological deactivation, decontamination, and decommissioning of nuclear facilities throughout the United States, including reactors, accelerators/cyclotrons, hot cells, laboratories, and facilities impacted by hazardous and radiological contamination.

Siempelkamp offers an extensive base of practical experience and expertise in the nuclear industry. Our key personnel have been assessing and solving nuclear facilities "end of useful life" challenges for over 25 years. This expertise aids Siempelkamp's clients in the implementation of project-specific program plans and procedures that ensures regulatory compliance and produces cost and time savings.
